Day 01 : NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra – Darjeeling
Arrival at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / Tenzing Norgay Bus Terminus (Junction) & Transfer to Darjeeling – Our driver will be there to receive the Guest at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand (Junction) – He will be assisting the guest for the forwarding journey to Darjeeling (100 Kilometers, 3 hours) – Situated at an elevation of 2123 meters / 70001 feet, the land of breathtaking beauty, amidst rolling tea gardens, crowned by the majestic Himalayas – This international destination is popularly known as the QUEEN OF THE HILLS – Jewel in the crown of the Eastern Himalayas with mesmerizing beauty offers spectacular views of the Mount Everest, Mount Kanchendzonga and the rest of spectacular Himalayan range – Darjeeling Himalayan Railway is one more attraction – Upon reaching Darjeeling , check into the hotel – In the evening one is free to stroll around Mall / Local Market – Over night stay at Darjeeling
Day 02 : Darjeeling Sightseeing
At about 4:00 AM drive to Tiger Hills, Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop, War Memorial – Back to hotel for breakfast and next – Tenzing Rock, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, Lebong Race course, Ropeway, Gorkha Stadium, Gorkha handicraft, Tibetans Refugee center, Tea garden – lunch at hotel or on the way – Japanese Peace Pagoda, Natural History Museum, Ava Art Gallery, Lal Kothi, rock garden and Ganga Maiya Park bare sightseeing spot and can be visited as per the days program – Sightseeing places are dynamically set depending upon the road condition and time factors – it is not possible to visit all the places but the important ones are covered for the satisfaction of guest – Evening free to roam around in any of the hundred nurseries or the Local market area – Overnight stay at Darjeeling
Day 03 : Mirk Excursion
After breakfast at hotel, drive towards Mirik via Pashupati Nagar, Indo-Nepal Border through picturesque roads. (Extra vehicle charges will be applicable for Nepal Border to Pasupati Market for shopping and recreation). Return to Darjeeling in the evening and overnight stay at hotel in Darjeeling. Mirik: A small sleepy town built around the 1.25 kilometer long man made Sumendu Lake. The pristine lake is surrounded by high forested hills, tea gardens, orange orchards and cardamom plantations. Horse riding & Boat is available around the lake on direct payment basis.
Day 04 : Darjeeling To Kalimpong
After breakfast at hotel you will depart for Kalimpong. On arrival you will proceed for check-in at hotel. The evening is free for leisure. Overnight stay at Kalimpong.
Day 05 : Kalimpong Sightseeing
After breakfast at hotel you will be taken for a full day sightseeing of the town which includes, tour of Forest Museum (closed on Thursday), Deolo Hill, Hanuman Mandir, Dr. Grahams Homes School, Durpin Monastery, Mangal Dham, Pine View Nursery (cactus only). Overnight stay at Kalimpong.
Day 06 : Kalimpong To Pelling
After breakfast at hotel you will depart for Pemayangtse (Pelling). On a clear day and if the weather is fine Guest can enjoy the view of Himalayan range with Mt. Kanchenjunga, Mt. Pandim, Mt. Kabru, Mt. Simvo, Mt. Jopuno and Mt. Siniolchu. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel. The evening is free for leisure. Over night stay at Pelling. Pelling – located at a distance of 120 kms from Gangtok is another serene, Mt. ain village which lies in the western districts of Sikkim. This village is situated at an altitude of approximately 2000 metres and commands a spectacular view of Mt. Kanchenjunga.
Day 07 : Pelling Sightseeing
After breakfast at hotel you will be taken for full day sightseeing. This includes Rimbi Water Falls, Rimbi Rock Garden, Kechopalri Lake (The world Khachoedpalri means The Wishing Lake. It is one of the most sacred and holy lakes for the Buddhists), Kanchenjunga Water Falls, Kechopalri Monastery, Pemayangtse Monastery and Rabdentse Ruins. Return to hotel, overnight stay in Pelling.
Day 08 : Pelling To Gangtok
After breakfast at hotel you will be transferred to Gangtok. On arrival you will proceed for check-in at hotel. The evening is free for leisure. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 09 : Gangtok Sightseeing
After breakfast at hotel you will be taken to a full day city Tour of Gangtok. This includes Directorate of Handicrafts and Handlooms, Research Institute of Tibetology, Dro-drul Chorten (Stupa, built by the venerable Trulshi Rimpoche, head of the Nyingma order of Tibetan Buddhism, in 1945), Flower Show, Ban – Jhakri Water Fall (Ban literally means forest or jungle, and Jhakri means healer), Rumtek Monastery (the seat of the Karmapa Rimpoche, head of the Karmapa sub-sect of the Kargyudpa order of Tibetan Buddhism), View Point, Botanical Garden, Enchey Monastery, White Hall, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok and Tashi View Point. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 10 : Excursion To Tshangu Lake and Baba Mandir
After breakfast at hotel you will depart for full day sight seeing of Tshangu Lake and Baba Mandir. (Nathu La Pass to Republic of China is nearly 20 Kms and is an optional tour). Return to Gangtok in the evening, overnight stay at hotel. Tshangu Lake: is one of the most popular destinations for tourists; it is located at 43 km from Gangtok. The lake is about 1km long, oval in shape, 15 metres deep and is considered sacred by the local people. This placid lake remains frozen during the winter months. On the way to the Lake, you will enjoy beautiful scenery and snow capped Mt. ains. The cool water of the Lake is perfectly attuned with the scenic beauty around. (In case of Land slide or any other reason Tshangu Lake is closed we will provide alternate sightseeing).
Day 11 : Gangtok-NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport
After breakfast at hotel transfer to NJP Railway Station/ Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey. As you go home let the everlasting memory of the radiant Himalayas and this beautiful serene place linger in your mind and prompt you now and again to revisit this place.
