Day 01 : NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra ñ Gangtok
On arrival at NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport you will be received by our office executive who will assist you to board your vehicle to Gangtok. Upon arrival proceed to the hotel for check-in; the evening is free for leisure. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 02 : Excursion To Tshangu Lake and Baba Mandir
After breakfast at hotel you will depart for full day sight seeing of Tshangu Lake and Baba Mandir. (Nathu La Pass to Republic of China is nearly 20 Kms and is an optional tour). Return to Gangtok in the evening, overnight stay at hotel. Tshangu Lake: is one of the most popular destinations for tourists; it is located at 43 km from Gangtok. The lake is about 1km long, oval in shape, 15 metres deep and is considered sacred by the local people. This placid lake remains frozen during the winter months. On the way to the Lake, you will enjoy beautiful scenery and snow capped mountains. The cool water of the Lake is perfectly attuned with the scenic beauty around. (In case of Land slide or any other reason Tshangu Lake is closed we will provide alternate sightseeing).
Day 03 : Gangtok To Lachung
Pick up at 10 am from hotel in Gangtok to proceed towards Lachung. On the way to Lachung you will enjoy magnificent location like Tashi Viewpoint, Kabi Lungstok, Naga Waterfalls, the confluence of rivers Lachen chu and Lachung chu at Chungthang, Twin waterfalls and Bhim Nala Waterfalls. Lunch will be served on route at Namok. You are likely to reach Lachung late in the afternoon or evening. Upon arrival proceed for check-in at hotel for overnight stay in Lachung.
Day 04 : Yumthang Excursion
After breakfast you leave for Yumthang one way). You can pay a visit to the famous hot spring on the way. Return to Lachung for lunch. After lunch you will depart for local sightseeing at Lachung. This includes visit to Lachung Monastery, Cottage Industry and waterfalls. Return to hotel for Dinner (around 8 pm) and overnight stay In Yumthang. Yumthang is a large valley surrounded by mountains where the tree line ends. In April, May and June the valley erupts in a riot of colours as rhododendrons, primulae and many other Alpine Flowers are in full bloom. In winters, Yumthang is somber with snow all around and the snow clad mountains adds to the ethereal beauty.
Day 05 : Lachung To Gangtok
After breakfast you will depart for Gangtok stopping on the way at many places between Singhik and Mangan to see the Kanchendzonga Range. These locations offer majestic view of Mt. Pandim, Mt Kabru, Mt. Simvo, Mt. Jopuno, Mt Kanchendzonga and Mt. Siniolchu. On arrival check-in at hotel, overnight stay in Gangtok.
Day 06 : Gangtok Sightseeing & Transfer To Pelling
After breakfast at hotel you will depart for half day city tour of Gangtok. This includes Directorate of Handicrafts and Handlooms, Research Institute of Tibetology, Dro-drul Chorten (Stupa, built by the venerable Trulshi Rimpoche, head of the Nyingma order of Tibetan Buddhism, in 1945), Flower Show. After sight seeing depart for Pelling. Upon arrival, check-in at hotel. The evening is free for leisure, overnight stay at Pelling. Pelling- located at a distance of 120 kms from Gangtok Pelling is another serene, mountain village which lies in the western districts of Sikkim. This village is situated at an altitude of approximately 2000 metres and commands a spectacular view of Mt. Kanchenjunga.
Day 07 : Pelling Sightseeing
After breakfast you will depart for full day sight seeing. This includes Rimbi Water Falls, Rimbi Rock Garden, Kechopalri Lake (The world Khachoedpalri means The Wishing Lake. It is one of the most sacred and holy lakes for the Buddhists), Kanchenjunga Water Falls, Kechopalri Monastery, Pemayangtse Monastery and Rabdentse Ruins. Overnight stay in Pelling.
Day 08 : Pelling To Darjeeling
After breakfast depart for Darjeeling. Upon arrival, check-in at hotel. The evening is free for leisure, overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Day 09 : Darjeeling Sightseeing
At about 4:00 AM drive to Tiger Hills, Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop, War Memorial – Back to hotel for breakfast and next – Tenzing Rock, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, Lebong Race course, Ropeway, Gorkha Stadium, Gorkha handicraft, Tibetans Refugee center, Tea garden – lunch at hotel or on the way – Japanese Peace Pagoda, Natural History Museum, Ava Art Gallery, Lal Kothi, rock garden and Ganga Maiya Park bare sightseeing spot and can be visited as per the days program – Sightseeing places are dynamically set depending upon the road condition and time factors – it is not possible to visit all the places but the important ones are covered for the satisfaction of guest – Evening free to roam around in any of the hundred nurseries or the Local market area – Overnight stay at Darjeeling
Day 10 : Darjeeling To NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport
After breakfast at hotel transfer to NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey. As you go home let the everlasting memory of the radiant Himalayas and this beautiful serene place linger in your mind and prompt you now and again to revisit this place.
