02 Nights Nameri / 02 Nights Kaziranga

Day 01- Arrival & Transfer To Nameri 

On arrival check into Eco-Camp at Nameri National Park, you will be staying at tented—————(B) camps covered with thatch-roofed. These tents have attached bath. Lunch at camp. Post lunch, trek inside the park accompanied by forest guard. Return to camp. Evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at Nameri 

Nameri National Park, situated at the foothills of Eastern Himalayas on the banks of the River Bhorelli coming down from the hills of Arunachal Pradesh, is home to rare bird life like the Great Indian Hornbill and the White Winged Wood Duck. The advantage of this wonderful park is that you have to do all you’re birding on foot, as there is no jeepable road.

 

Day  02 – Nameri 

Nameri National Park (B)

Today early morning, trek inside the park accompanied by forest guard. Return to the camp for breakfast. After breakfast, we take a float trip / rafting of around two hours’ duration down the Jia Bhoreli River through the park. The expert boatman will accompany you. Life jackets and other essentials will be provided by us. Lunch at camp and leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at Nameri 

 

Day 03 – Nameri To Kaziranga

Nameri National Park – Kaziranga National Park (B), (L, D) After breakfast drive to Kaziranga National Park (about 3 hrs drive from Nameri). On arrival check into Diphlu River Lodge at Kaziranga National Park. Post lunch, enjoy afternoon Jeep safari at Kaziranga. Dinner and overnight at lodge in Kaziranga 

Kaziranga National Park, a World Heritage Site, and Tiger reserve – is home to more than 80% of the world’s population of the Great One Horned Rhinoceros. It has a significant population of Asian Elephant and Water Buffalos living here. It has a wide variety of flora and avifauna in a unique habitat of main grasslands, close tangled and thorny rattan cane, Elephant grass and tall trees of the evergreen forest and numerous water bodies. More than 400 species of birds both resident and migratory are found here. Apart from the Rhino, other species found are hog deer, swamp deer, wild buffalo, elephants and if you are lucky the tiger. It is virtually a paradise for bird watchers, with a variety of migratory and resident birds darting from tree to tree. It is also home to pelicans, storks, and darters as there are a number of water bodies inside the Park.

 

Day 04 – Kaziranga 

Kaziranga National Park (B, L, D)

Today early morning, we will enter the National Park for elephant ride followed by Jeep safari with packed breakfast. Return to the lodge. Post lunch, go for another Jeep Safari inside the National Park. Return to the lodge by sunset.Dinner and overnight at lodge.

 

Day 05 – Departure 

Kaziranga National Park – Guwahati Airport (B)
After breakfast, check out at 10 AM and drive to Guwahati Airport for onward journey. Boarding 6E 291 from GAU for CCU at 17:55 HRS, reach CCU at 19:15 HRS .
